Bikes, Banks & Good Bye’s

Last Friday me and my eternal running mate Cee Heard went for a Happy Hour Run.  We accomplished so much in our little 4.5mi run!

1.  We learned that there is a bike named after me…

(I love how it looked like it came from circa 1992, the 90’s are my fav!)

2.  We realized that you can multitask while running!

( Think you’re too busy to run?  Try to incorporate your errands!  We ran to each of our banks and quickly did our banking!)

3.  We said Good Bye to a great new friend.

We said Good Bye to Lindsey at her farewell party at For Pete’s Sake and had a beer before our run home.

Lindsey has quickly become my fav yoga teacher!  She taught my Yoga for Athletes series when I was training for my marathon.  She is moving all the way to Santa Fe!  She will be missed!  You can still catch her at Wake Up Yoga until the end of June.

You can still learn from Lindsey even though she will be thousands of miles away at her blog:

It was a fantastic happy hour run, I can’t wait to see what we do tomorrow!

Anyone interesting in joining us?  We’re leaving from South Philly at 5:45’ish!

Independence Run

desperately trying to get back into the training groove, I ventured out with Iron Man – Vinny Mancini.  My allergies were killing me but we managed to get in 6 (tough) miles, a sprint up to the Constitution Center, and a couple great shots of my favorite city!  Hopefully after a couple more runs, I will be able to shake the post marathon blahs!
